as the artistic director of the claire russ ensemble, claire creates contemporary dance. she also works in theatre, film, opera/operetta, pantomime, cabaret, animation, the fashion industry and education. she draws upon a knowledge of many different dance forms, a sound historical and contemporary perspective and a wide experience of working with directors.
